Startail ran to the nursury and protected the kits she watched her leader yowl a warning and summoned all of his warriors together. he whispered somthing in thery'er ears and they all got into battle position but Startail stayed where she was to help the queens and kits.

Mistyflight heard the call and sprinted out of her den. Her head was muddled from sleep, but the first thing she noticed was that Birchthorn was gone. He was a very ambitious cat, and she knew he would stop at nothing to become leader.

It was maybe just 2 hours after dawn, and Mistyflight was exhausted!! She was up all night on her warrior vigil. If thunderclan doesn't tear Birchthorns pelt off, she would!!

The intruders burst into came spitting with rage. Skypaw flung herself onto the back of a gray tabby; churning her paws without mercy.

Mistyflight keeps her promise. She spots the familiar dark tabby pelt and leaps. The strong cat's knees buckle underneath the unexpected weight. He wips around, letting up a ThunderClan she-cat. She bites down hard, and he fights hard and throws her off. He soon has her pinned and, before letting her go and running off, he hisses a threat in her ear. "Mark my words, cat. Pinestar is soft. I would make a better leader. And I will. If you get in my way, I'll make sure you won't get in anyones way ever again. Ever." He bounds off and soon the ThunderClan warriors are gone. She runs over to her good friend, Skypaw, and tells her what happened.

"And that's what you get for trespassing on our territory!" Skypaw yowled as she banged two cat's heads together and then chased them out of camp.
