If only you were mine

           A breeze whispered softly through a meadow. The grass swayed and the leaves of an oak tree danced. Flowers rose here and there. In the middle of the meadow sat a dragon. The dragon was green. A boy sat next to the dragon looking out at the meadow. Thousands of tents flooded the earthy place. Horses whinnied and snorted and men whispered to others. The quiet clink clink of needles knitting a scarf or a sweater sailed over to him. The boy's name was Darak. And he dragon was so-called Fenor. The boy wore a long white shirt that had grime and dust on it, but otherwise white as snow and a leather brown tunic sat on top of his shoulders. He had blonde hair with bangs that slid down to his eye brow. He had dark brown eyes. His pants were black and his boots were brown. Fenor rose to his full height and shook himself. Darak pushed himself off the ground and the dragon slowly shuffled toward the camp. Darak strode next to Fenor and they both walked back to the large cluster of tents.

Fenor stopped and settled down in his part of the grass. Darak kept walking. He walked over to a tent and knocked on one of the poles holding it up.
"Come in," he voice sounded from inside. He lifted the flap and a girl turned to him. She had long auburn hair, that looked like fire, that fell down and tumbled to an end on her shoulder.
"Hello, Darak," she smiled happily. She wore a silver shirt and a black tunic along with black pants and gray boots.
"Greetings to you, Izhara," he smiled warmly to her. She smiled back. Izhara gave him permission to sit on her cot. When he sat down she brought him some warm tea. He thanked her then sipped the steaming hot drink. Izhara sat down beside him.
"How is Fenor?" She asked. Izhara was the one who had sent the egg to him while he was riding through the forest in search of the Tayers. He was awaiting the egg's arrival. Tayers was a rebellion group that were, at the moment, trying to overthrow the king, Dardka Kailovich. Most called him King Dardka Kail. He was an evil king with a habit of killing, power, and destroying things.
"Fenor is doing great," he replied.

"Good," Izhara smiled. Darak twiddled his fingers for a while. Then he watched the sun sink behind the horizon. The sky turned red and orange then yellow and pink, then pink and purple, then blue and black. Darak sighed.
"I should go," he murmured. Izhara nodded and bid him farewells as did he.
"Rest well, for tomorrow we will be attacking the soldiers," she smiled.
"You I," he smiled back then walked out of the tent.
