~well don't make me cooped up for months~

Dewsplash groaned.
"Please let me go to the gathering!" Dewsplashed begged.

Thunderstorm leaned closer his pale yellow eyes pleading.
"What's going to happen?" He pressed.

maplewind and tawnyfeather exchanged silent thoughts. Dewsplashes wounds were bad.

Dewsplash begged again.
"Please!" He pleaded. He began to puppy eye them both.

"Dewsplash, you are staying here. We can't risk losing the fighting and hunting strength of a good, loyal and strong warrior." Tawnyfeather replied distractedly and Mistystar nodded. "You are dismissed, Maplewind, assign a warrior to stay with him. As for you, Thunderstorm," She looked at him through narrowed eyes but didn't continue.

"Hey I didn't kill anybody!" Thunderstorm protested.

Dewsplash snorted.
"Oh come on," Dewsplash moaned.
"I don't want to stay here though!" He groaned.

"Then don't. Go for a light hunt with your guard. And if you loose him/her, you will be in serious trouble." Mistystar replied.

Dewsplash glared at the leader. Then he turned to Tawnyfeather.
"How long till I heal?" Dewsplash asked.

"I'll get another warrior Mistystar." maplewind dipped her head and headed out. She soon came back in with leaftail, a very quiet older Tom

Thunderstorm's fluffy black and white fur was bristling anoxiously.

Dewsplash growled.
"I don't want to stay, though!" he pleaded.

"Why is this gathering so important?" Thunderstorm asked.

Maplewind wondered if he didn't want to show how vulnerable he was as being weak

"It's important because then you can share news, not secrets, news to other clan friends." Dewsplash mumbled. He glared at Maplewind because her face showed her thoughts.
"Oh and, be quiet about me. Don't say anything. If they ask just say that I am sick," he growled a warning. He didn't want clans coming to defeat him and earn victory with their clans.

"Toms. Always the same." thought as she stalked out.

Till Tawnyfeather says you can." Mistystar replied.

"We are not mouse-brained idiots!!" Thunderstorm snapped, then added less harshly. "The other clans aren't going to attack just because our deputy was injured. Besides, they're still licking the wounds we gave them."

"Agreed. Dewsplash, you go with Leaftail." Mistystar commanded and then turned to Tawnysplash. "Please explain the omen."

Thunderstorm shuffled closer.

"You will fight against the Lightning and unleash something more powerful than all the Clans, right in the heart of waterClan." She whispered darkly.

Thunderstorm looked bewildered then his eyes grew thoughtful.
"My sister is Lightningstrike..." he meowed nervously, "Does that mean I'll have to fight her?"

while hunting, maplewind sees a squirrel, chasing after it, she doesn't notice a figure in the shadows

"It...... It could." Tawnyfeather replied darkly.

Thunderstorm shivered when he remembered what a formidable cat she was.
